Re: Sd Kfz 223 conversion
Hi.
Fantastic build i can see the 1/16 military vehice market exploding here...if the makers of the wpl trucks take note and i am sure they will then they should start producing all these vehicles that we as modellers keep adapting the standard wpl chassis into.
Regards

Folks, this build and thread is complete now, Mr Midnight has sadly passed away leaving but a few insights to his model making ability for us to reflect upon.
RIP Bill

Re: Sd Kfz 223 conversion
Such sad news Herman, Bill was a very kind and thoughtful person. I enjoyed his work. He will be missed.
Tanks alot....
Re: Sd Kfz 223 conversion
A remarkable modeling effort killed by tires that seem to me very distant from the real vehicle
As for the panzer, the tracks are the foundation on which everything is based, the same goes for a vehicle with wheels.
IMHO

My Play Dirty truck gets by OK, but it would have been nice to have narrower wheels and tyres.
