Engine revving

Before The tank begins to move there was a short movement of the forward lever of the controller that would allow the engine to rev up while the tank set still. I am running the ibu2 full meal deal and have done a lot of editing, all so far so good, but can't figure out what I changed that eliminated this cool little feature.

And my KT won a 1st place in the RC section of a modeling show Saturday.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, could it be you have changed the inertia settings......just a thought. Well done on your win.

InertiaOnOff=3;0=NOT_USED, 1=UPSX_DIAG, 2=UPDX_DIAG, 3=DOWNSX_DIAG, 4=DOWNDX_DIAG, 5=CH5, 6=CH6, 7=CH7, 8=CH8

This is how it is set- maybe there is a line in there that has it on at startup and I didn't understand what inertia was.

InertiaInit=1;0=Inertia OFF, 1=Inertia ON (at start up)
InertiaType=1;1=Inertia curve 1, up to 6=Inertia curve 6

I just changed the setting to on at startup. Should the curve be a 2 or 3?

Thanks!
Steve

Hello Steve,

No error in your ini file, if you have the Base version the inertia curve is only one (1)
If you have a full option board you can choose between five more curve (2..6)

About the missing revving sound you can check if the line " EngineRevving=RevUp.wav,100 " is present and the filename called is correct (same name) and present into Tank folder

Thanks
Ivano

EngineRevving=RevUp.wav,100 is in exactly like you said. This is the full option board.

If I change the inertia to 3 or 4 what does that do?

Thanks
Steve

Thank you ibu2man - for revving one needs to move the stick full down quickly. Works like a charm -

Thanks
