The most obvious difference would have been the so-called 'Schmalturm' (narrow turret) that never really got past the prototype stage. After the war, the Yanks nabbed one example of the two available, and the Brits took the other.
Here it is at Bovington, having had the stuffing shot out of it for years. I took this pic there a couple of years ago. Hmm.. If they'd only known how rare it was... :think:
