Thanks Eastern . the zimmermet one will be in the east , painting will be my downfall. The new KT without the coating western side, going for a later version . Lots of camouflage options to choose from .

Been away , sunny Andalusia cycling . Back to the wet and cold so better start on the KT .
Finished the hull sides . Wanted the tow cable to look used with a kink or two .
Found out i need a bigger dia of wire , 3mm instead of 2mm .
Will do for now can use the 2 mm tow cables on the Panther.

That all looks real authentic Mr 42
Sure is a well done transformation.
When you choose a camo scheme for it, try to find a unit that it may have represented & research those patterns.........that way at least you can get a picture on your head before the first blast of the airbrush!!
Great job

Some tidying up on turret top , hatches , sighting block and the gas brackets. Need to find an easy way to make the vision blocks, can't find a cutting of perspex i put aside.

Decided to make a bucket, not keen on the Taigen one . better if it has a few bashes and dents.
Had some thin copper and made it a little smaller

Glad the track hangers are done, was going to buy but metal hangers are scarce. They are out of stock or just plastic ones when searching for bits.
a bashed bucket

Metal tracks look better, had to drill central section on one type to fit the track rods

Not far off painting now, might make side skirts out of thin brass sheet. The Trumpeter zimmermit has different fixing points compared to the Tamiya version.
