Hello I am not much of a Tanker (if that is the right expression) but am working on a Tank landing craft in 1/16 scale so have to own a Sherman to drive off it on the beach head. I have many boats and 2 shermans and a military truck.

Welcome along

I 3D printed an LCM3 in 1/16 but it's a little bit wider than scale so it will fit a Tiger 1 lol

Very nice! Is the D-Day museum any good for reference for this sort of thing? I have hazy memories of being unimpressed by it when I visited (back in the 80's!)

It is a good place for reference but the basis of this landing craft is a plan in Model boats magazine (December 2009) expanded to 1/16 scale to allow use of the heng long tank.

Hehe, looks well

It’s the LCM3 I printed that actually got me into tanks lol

I forgot to mention I am Bryan. The sign up didn't allow me to use my name so I just went with the one on the boat.
Wayne: I now own a tiger but mine can't fit in my boat
