HELLO HEllo Hello!, (oh dear here comes another newbie!).

Old hat question to you guys probably,,, yawn yawn!,, I have the Heng Long Bulldog tank, about 1 year old, Yes the old STD smokie unit has packed up!, also leaving a trail of oil from the battry compartment. Question is:: (just get on with it i hear you cry!, can i replace unit with the 'Proportional' unit as ive noticed it has four extra long wires (two green two black), and where do they attatch, does it create more smoke or should i replace with another standard unit??. Sorry to be a bore but needs must un all that!!. Thanks for any response!!.

welcome to the forums overabarrel, thanks for joining us guys here! im sorry to hear about you smoker problem, ive heard about it alot but have never actually suffered that problem myself!

hi , yes you can fit the prop smoker the 4 extra wires go to the motors ,the more speed the more smoke

Hi Cliff thanks for your response, you say the motors!, do you mean direct to the motors or to the circuit board where they connect, (probably doesnt make much differece) but id thaught id ask!!.. Cheers

Thanks again all for your time and responses, you cant beat the Bods on the Forums .. Beats any instruction manuals!. Ive joined many forums for my planes too,... but you cant beat gettin 'Side tracked' now and then!. Thanks again.. "ill be back".

Thanks Cliff 'n' all !!,. New proportional unit installed, Both sets of long wires from the smokers circuit board ive soldered onto the main circuit board where the motors solder too!, the other long RED/BLACK with white block connector goes into the 'DP2' socket where the STD unit goes... ( i know i cant tell you fellow tankers how to suck eggs but someone out there maybe 'sidetracked' by this one too at somepoint!!. Cheers again. ------{+]¬
