She's around 100 pounds, but keep in mind that she was so fast I had to set my throttle end points at about 60% and the steering is dialed down to 50%. And she'll still do about 6mph. I know the tiger is much heavier, but I'm not sure about the difference in motors. Mine are 24 volt, 350 watt. I think. That info should be in the Hetzer thread if we need it. Stupid hippie memory! Doh!

I'm seriously thinking about building a Tiger 1 turret for display purposes. Any chance you could get some photos of the Turret with a Rule to show the dimensions of your Turret Marco. Need to know height as well if possible? I've got the shape but photos are easier to use than calculators {or brain??} Photo David Byrden

Cool, you got the late armoured Turret ring. Are you going to fit that to your Tank?

No idea, don't think you can see it? Works fine now as it is!

It's the protective ring at the base of the turret, attatched to the deck. The curved silver items in your picture. They are to stop shrapnel fragments getting into the turret bearings (on the real tank.)

Yeah I know, I mean will one see it when I do install it. :-P

And I'm afraid it might interfere with the perfectly smooth turning turret I have right now.

Worked hard today!

We took out the Tamiya DMD unit and speaker (I ordered a Benedini-set), and also removed the Robbe/Futaba 40GHz receivers. They were replaced with a 2.4GHz set.

I think we also fixed the smoker!

Cleaned her out even more, found out about a lot more details (learning more every time!) and picked one large engine hatch to test cleaning, re-priming and spraying on.
