Stencils rule!

I have been frustrated with decals and although my wife can free hand even on zimmerit it seemed there ought to be a simple way to do this numbers and other little things on tanks. Someone, I don't remember who, but thanks a bunch! It works great. The only issue I had was the stencils weren't sticky enough and my lovely bride waltzes out with a can of, yes you guessed it, stencil adhesive. Spray a light coat on and they magically stay where they are placed. So here's the results of my first attempt. I am finally finished with this redo of a Panther "G" model tank I purchased a while back.
Now I can finish the outside of my King Tiger. And rctank electronics ibu2u upgraded for the inside when it arrives.
Be well,
Steve

I am not sure where that came from. Just showed up on the porch one day. Nice thing about it is it showed me how I can make my own out of some 1/2" stock my wife had stashed away. Well she said she didn't have any immediate plans for it anyhow.
Be well,
Steve

I stick masking tape on glossy photopaper. Print out the numbers (or whatever I want), leave it to dry. Cut the numbers out then peel the masking tape off the photopaper. Result - Sticky stencil.

I go to the download section of our very own Forum and Print them off using Stencil paper.
Then using a Pentel Paint Pen filled with an acrylic paint of choice I fill in the Stencil,
Depending on the size of the Stencil is the decider of what size Pen to use, as the Nib/Brush is fibre it makes it easy to trim with a Blade.

Hi Mick,
The reservoir unscrews which allows you to wash the old paint out and refill.
If you go to E-BAY there are packs of small funnels for sale for pennies.
Quite expensive to buy but in the end because they can be used over and over they work out cheaper than the prefilled one use only variety.

Mick,
I never keep paint in them after I have used them,
I wash them out with warm soapy water and leave them to dry until I need them again.
