I managed to get some out doors shots in between the rains.
Here you go...
The camo really seems to work. It almost looks like the back end of the hull disappears!

Thats great mate.
The foliage, which is so hard to get looking right is fantastic.
Excellent paint, weathering and pictures.
Love it.

Great work. The foliage adds realism that very few modellers are willing to put on their models because it hides most of the previous hard work. It looks specially good when on the field. Congrats

Thanks, guys!
I was a bit on the fence about the greenery, but it seemed to have worked. I was amazed at how well it blended in with the "forest" in the back yard. I think that it still needs to have a bit more added to it. Guess I'll just have to paint up some more limbs.

Looks very nice! Some people don't like all the foliage on a model but I always like it as it was very realistic in 1944. Your disc camo came out great! What method did you use?

Kind of like my greenery!

I wonder if theirs started out as a sickly pale green!

It was really pretty easy. I started out with a base color of sand spray paint. I then used Q-Tips to make the dots. You can kind of mash the rounded ends to get different sized dots. After I was satisfied with the dots, I went back and air brushed the dunkelgelb areas. I finished it up with some dry brushing and then a wash of black tempra paint. I took a damp rag and wiped the dried tempra paint, leaving it in the recesses and some streaking on the vertical surfaces. I think the entire paint job, not counting drying time, only took about 3 hours.
If anyone missed it, here's a link to the build thread.
Thanks for all for the great comments, guys!
