Does anyone have any experience with this airsoft unit?

Comparing to my black unit, I think the spring on this one looks a little thicker. Plus the name is really confusing "... tank upgraded model..". Not sure if it's implying it's for tanks we upgrade, or that this unit itself is an upgrade to a stock unit.

Just trying to get the most fps, so I figured before adding a set of washers, etc. to strenthen my stock unit, it's best to start off with a stronger unit, and then do the upgrade.

The Uprated spring method is the usual one for upping the FPS on your Tank BB. It has been discussed on here numerous times, and you can pick up the threads, so to speak, by searching the archives here.
But..if you really want to go down the road of having a tank that not only fires BBs but paintballs as well, look at OttoH's contributions to Youtube. Even though the soviet style turret looks more like an old barbecue lid, the performance is amazing as is the gas technology.. The home built tank is also one of the best runners I"ve ever seen on Youtube..

yeah, thanks, no, I've already seen the spring mod threads, I know what to do, just asking if anyone knows if this unit is better built than stock hl ones.
And gas is a nice option, but won't fit in my tanks, so can't go that route.
