The tracks on a ww2 pershing , are they any different to a korean era pershing ? and are the ones usually found on heng long Pershings accurate if you want a ww2 era Pershing. I did see a post somewhere where tracks from a kv1 had been used to give a more period look to heng longs version if you wanted ww2 era model. Any one know of this and is it a straight forward swap ?. Many thanks.

Did a bit of research on this the 1st perching did have the kv1 like tracks fitted, however I have photographic evidence that the tracks fitted on both the tamiya and henglong ones can be said to be
ww2 correct :

Stuart, Frankie on the forum did such a wonderful swap and it required M41 sprockets. Other than that you may have to remove the fenders.

Yep...the Kv1 tracks are a little too wide...there’s clearance on the hull side but there may be issues if the skirts are kept...they’re good if you’re not too worried about being 100% accurate or are on a budget ( or both lol)....
