Hi Im building a Stug III Ausf.G late model would it be corect to put the woven sheet skirts on or would they only have the solid sheet ones ? However I have zimmerited my Stug . And I have read mesh skirts were introduced in Sept. 1944 , I think zimmerit was abandoned by then ?
Thanks Littletankman

Why not fit a mixture of mesh (thoma) and solid skirts. You could get away with this on the premise that the mesh skirts were fitted in the field to replace lost solid plate skirts.
Cheers

Tanks were altered in the field so within reason you can get away with a lot customising.
