There would be color variations from lot to lot, year to year on the real tanks. Pick which one you like and enjoy.

Thougt about it , but frankly I'm happy pappy With the range of ak/ammo/vallejo/tamiya I have atm . But such a good writeup .Thanks for taking the time

You also have the comparison to the Vallejo colors, it is the 71.xxx numbered sheets?

I guess it also dependss on how you spray it.

From the patches I tried, I would say from the experience how I layed the paints down so far. RC059 comes close to Vallejo Tank Ochre, RC060 and RC061 would be Model Color German Camo Baige and Modelair Hemp, while RC062 comes close to their RAL7028 Dunkelgelb.

With all the scale effects discussion, I am not 100% sure about the arguments. Still , the smaller the details and the darker the paint, you don't see any contrast. And the point with the soil effects and what not. I really like to have the option to paint the model as I like it to look. How many of us paint wartime camo as messy as it was?
This range of colors add to the diversity and from all the tests. They look great.
