Mick this is a very helpful link,
After viewing I went to the Home page of
http://www.robotgear.com.au
And found 3 pages of "Wheel Mounts" of all sizes,
Just click on "Mechanics",
well worth a look.
Shaun.

That looks good, it just means we need to make some lego hubcaps to cover the ugly lego wheels

Will what's stopping you from making your own using a compass cutter and scrap 1mm plasti-card?

Nothing at all. Although maybe a other project for the lathe and make some nice alloy hubs.

Will When I put out suggestions to someone on the Forum I am really addressing everyone most of whom do not have access to a lathe (If Only) otherwise I would "PM" them.

No problems
If more of us were able to pick up a lathe for £60 then more of us would certainly own a lathe hehe
Anyway it is a great find and will help many for sure.

Once my adaptors arrive I will get them tested and let you know.
Another project due to arrive which is a 1/16 Scania 6x4. I want to use twin lots of the Tamiya twin motor drive. That should give me enough pulling power for a road based tank transporter. Let's hope these adaptors can handle the torque!
As for wheels I just need to find a close size Lego wheel to the Scania wheel. Then gonna turn off the outer part of the wheel and glue the centre onto the Lego wheel. Good looking wheel then

They should, but think there are better things available on thingiverse, shapeways, and ebay now.
