A New Dawn,

Well my friends here we are again,
Saying goodbye to an eventful year and one that some of us will be glad to see the back of,
I Guess Herman and his family and a former member of this Forum and friend Simon would count themselves among those numbers,
But for many it was positive and for a lot of us it meant taking up this hobby,
Hmm, something that our partners would often consider a mixed blessing,
Anyway before us lies an unsullied future which is just waiting for us to foul up no no I mean take advantage of,
So a very Happy and healthy New Year to everyone Ex Members, Members and those who we shall be welcoming in the coming 12 months wherever in the World you and yours maybe.
Shaun.

Happy New Year!
Some good bits to look back on, some bad bits to realise that the good bits made it worth sticking it out. Hopefully 2018 will be better all round.
As for SWMBO, she's happy the hobbies means she knows where I am.... Either upstairs or under the 1:1 scale Land Rover!

I agree that “17 is not one I will look back on with anything but negativity.
Let’s hope that 18 brings better times.
Though a badly eventful year, I can still put it into perspective relative to how much worse it could be
No one was shooting at me
No one was blowing me up or running me over so I guess with that in mind things weren’t completely disastrous

Herman is never far from my thoughts, I wish you well in 2018, and you are right, we all live in a relatively safe world, all things considered.
Me? Well since the 14th December I have been to hell and back every night and day. What started out as a completely routine scan, which found nothing, turned into something else entirely. It's 21:24 on New Years Eve here in Blighty, and I have to get my backside to a hospital at 23:15 to get a diagnosis on the latest developments.
Ho hum...

I wish everyone one here a very safe happy and prosperous New Year.
all the best to you and yours in 2018!
Looking forward to seeing what's in store for all of us on the forum. Hopefully there will be some new fantastic pieces of armour available for us to purchase ( resulting in multiple bank account withdrawals..... no...) and super builds to enjoy
May we all find success and (some new tanks)
Cheers
Carl
