If you can afford the price of the Cent why not shop around for an Antar and a King Trailor,
Once your clear of the Glasgow conurbation the Road to the Isles would be just pure fun, I would avoid the Clyde Tunnel though if I were you

Indeed! But the Loch Lomond route via Crianlarich is closed for repairs at the moment (10-12 days.. ). Apparently, someone crashed through the safety barriers there...maybe it was the guy with the gun version, Now, if you really want to fill your pants with something unpleasant, the road to Applecross is the one to take (scariest in Scotland..especially in Winter..).

I'd have room for the tank behind my house (not in front..it would spoil the view for visitors..maybe ), but my pension might stretch to a Tamiya Tiger next year, or another Ludwig kit (maybe Centurion, probably the Comet), but not as far a the Centurion- nor even the fuel for an afternoon's car crushing fun in one
