Seized motor

Well, I have just been telling you all how things were going with the Tiger, especially about the motors.
Having tried to run in the "lazy" one, I have failed ...... it is now incredibly stiff to turn by hand. I lubed it during running in, but I thought it was duff anyway. I cant get 380 motors complete with gears roung here, and I am dubious about pulling off the cog then pressing it onto a new motor shaft. I am told they are prone to splitting between the teeth. The price of a good quality motor is about a fiver....HL motors with gear cog fitted is about 7 quid! Robery!
Any ideas for a replacement with cog.... I am fitting RX 18 and el-mod so I cant go silly with power cos I want scale speed....
I have a shed full of motors but all are 400's and above so they are no good cos they have a thicker shaft.
Anyone got out of gaol on this one?????
