Our Taigen Tiger has developed a fault it starts and runs for a few seconds then the sound cuts and the tank stops. Sometimes the tank keeps moving with no control.
Any ideas if it’s the main control board at fault.
I have looked at wiring and charged the batteries so don’t think it’s that.
Pic of board if it helps.

That's only happened with my tanks when the battery is low. Are you using the stock battery? If you are try changing it for a decent one 3000 or above.

Has it run properly since you fitted the new gear boxes? If not, I would double check the wiring. It does sound like a flat battery problem though. To eliminate possible sources of problems, it would be worth rebinding the receiver to the transmitter. There should be instructions in the documentation that came with the tank.

Ok, found the problem. One of the new gearboxes is partly seized and very hard to turn obviously causing it to overload and stop.
Unfortunately this has now caused the controller to not work at all on that channel so i assume its blown up.
I took the gearbox out and it looks like one of the shafts close to the motor is out of alignment somehow, although I cant see why.
Email sent to vender to see if we can resolve this, changed gearbox and get a melted controller, great >:<
