Tamiya Centurion
Re: Tamiya Centurion
Maybe they fear too much competition from the 3D printing brigade here?
Re: Tamiya Centurion
It was listed by Modelsport.co.uk at £199 including R/C, it's gone from their website now.Son of a gun-ner wrote:Mind you, would it be any cheaper than Ludwigs offering? Bet it wouldn't be any better from what I've seen of his kits.
Re: Tamiya Centurion
I was disappointed it wasn't 1/16 scale too, but it was BRITISH so I had set my mind on buying one. I think I will use the money to put towards a 3D printer, maybe I could emulate the awe inspiring Chieftain Mk V scratch build by AlwynTurner.......

Re: Tamiya Centurion
Even for a small scale that is a lovely model. The crazy thing is that if that is on a CAD system, it would take 5 minutes to scale everything up to 1/16 scale. I used to have 4 of those Tamiya's, all motorised, a Chieftain, Panther, T34 and a Tiger. They were ok, but not a patch on that Centurion.

Hmm.. looks like it also disappeared from the usual EU sites.
Not good. Production trouble?
