Opel blitz German supply truck/ heng long truck based.

Heng Long/WPL are now manufacturing 1/16 scale RC trucks, so it seemed sensible to create a forum area dedicated to the amazing things that members are doing with them. Post your builds, mods, and tips here.

A little more work done on the truck, finished making the undercarriage stowage boxes and fitted them, still a few more details to add, just primed at the minute but hopefully get the German grey top coat on before to long

Cheers, Lee. ImageImage

I’ve got the files for a Bilstein crane to fit this, I’ll print one out over the next couple of weeks so you can see what it’s like

That would be great Wayne  I've gone with the cargo bed full of stowage at the moment and used the fuel drums that you also printed for me to house the speaker and sound unit as I originally planned, I'm sure I could be tempted to make a spare interchangeable bed though to swap between the two when the mood takes me :D

Cheers Wayne
But will it look strong enough to hold a Tiger engine ;)

Did these trucks come in 6x6 configuration (three axle) during the war? Or just two axle like above?
