Early tiger 1 commander cupola vs later cupola.

Hi guys!! I just want to know whats the main difference between the 2 cupola? Which one is better? Is there a reason why the early cupola was abandoned?

As far as I'm aware the early one was easier to hit due to its increased height, the vision slits were very poor for the commander to see through and, I believe, the upward opening hatch exposed the commander more than the design on the later one.

Oh cool!! Thanks!! I was trying to find a reason to switch to late hatch for my tiger 1. I thought the early hatch looks nicer, ok. Ow i know late one is better!!
