T-34/76 In German service

My creative juices are flowing these days and aside from a few builds under construction I've run into another future build that I need some feedback on.
My plan is to build a nice tri color beutepanzer t-34 /76 Colors will be simple enough.
The idea has come into my mind to add the side schurzen plates like I've seen. I'm sure I can build them out of plasticard but does anyone have a better idea or reccomended design or material?
I've even seen some 1:35 builds with turret schurzen plates.
Here's what I've decided to try to attempt....
Thanks in advance
Carl

Go for it, you got to hand it to the Germans, they would recycle anything

For the schurzen on my PzIV I used sheet copper. The wife had it for the jewelry she makes, and I just "liberated" a bit. She got it at a metal recycling place, it was scraps left over from a sheet copper roof that was being done. Worked like a champ, was easy to solder, and makes realistic bends. Also adds a little heft to the tank!
If you want, I can PM you some pictures of the skirts.

Looking forward to it: particularly the turret & wheels as I've got one to do at some point.
Just a note, the extra plate looks to be attached to the upper hull only so may need to be slightly flared outwards to clear the wheels for when you take the top off.

Hi Carl,
here is a pic of the type you are thinking about.
And, just to add to your creative thoughts, here is something a little different.
Cheers
Steve

These are very cool. I might have to buy another t-34 and kindly ask Mr Alwyn Turner to design and print another 88mm like the beauty he made for my nashorn kit so I can buy it and mount it on the hull

I knew I'd see the 88mm version somewhere else -
