Tamiya - Main Gun Firing suddenly stopped work?

CANNOT FIRE MAIN GUN
My main gun firing, flash and emitter on Tamiya Sherman has stopped working... when I pull joystick down to fire main gun the machine gun now seems to operate from the same position, which it never did before.
The same transmitter operates main gun firing & flash on different Tamiya tank, so do not think transmitter is the problem.... unless the Sherman has different settings (unlikely).
Have swooped receiver from another tank and exactly the same happens, so do not think it is the receiver.

I have a HiTec Optics 6 Sport 2.4 Transmitter

I am confused to say the least....

Many Thanks
Kevin

Try reversing that channel on the transmitter.

Hi .... Your suggestion did work so thanks for that....

The only problem I have now is the gun elevation moves the wrong way on the joystick, now that I have reversed things.... as this is on same joystick as cannon fire.
Strange in that this never happened before.

I think I may just swoop the wires around on the gun elevation motor so it moves in the correct direction, unless anybody has any better ideas

Many Thanks
Kevin

Reset the dmd with the channels set in Normal.

You do need to teach each dmd to each radio/receiver.
