Incredible work indeed

I had the vicarious pleasure of watching a "Bedford QL 1942 rebuild" (With Single Tyres ) bump starting an almost brand new ( Cost to NATO 350,000 Deutch Marks) Mercedes Benz Medium Recovery in the depths of a German Winter at a NATO Transport Company in the early 70s.
The British soldiery were cheering as this allied combination passed them, the German soldiers were rather subdued
