Painting up and trying to finish this baby
Image

Got underway with the LWB M35 Crew Cab version
Image

Finished the M35 Crew Cab SWB
Image

Painted a bit more camo and lacquer on my Ural Communication truck
Image

Image

And a few new toys arrived on the weekend :) still have another 7 trucks in the post!!!!! (this is an illness!)
Image

Image The wifes project to clean up & camo. Bought as spares or repair, didn't take long to get it fixed and working

And finally we hav a few new custom builds in progress
This is my version of a Sno Cat, but in the shape of an M35. So it will be the M35 Snoo Cat
Image
I will design this so that it can be used with truck wheels and then remove the arches for the tracked version.
However i am going to re-design the track units so they look more like the tucker Sno Cat.
The eventual plan is then to have a proper looking Tucker Sno Cat

So i sent a motor unit off to Tomley's RC Garage and this is his review of my dual motor setup
phpBB [video]

Due to issues on ground clearance i am now working on another with extra height, although it will require the bottom of the interior to be cut away to give space.

We are also well underway to get the twin larger motors on test which i may use in my Crew Cab & Ural Communication truck on 3s POWER

I think I have diagnosed your illness....

You are suffering from G.A.S, commonly known as 'Gear Acquisition Syndrome'. I have seen it elsewhere, especially amongst camera owners. There is no known cure........

So another new truck to add!
I won this in a competition, so this is going to be something i build for my wife, with her help of course!
Image

Literally mocked up, but this will test the new big dual block setup which is unseen so far.
New 3D printed wheels to come and lots of goodies. Going to try and do it up as realistically as possible

Also have a rather cool project for this to setup some parts for a new re-designed body. Eventually i hope to add a 110 version also ;) watch this space

Image

Another B16 kit has arrived and another B24 kit also. I am keeping one of each kit in the house now so i can design new parts for any of the kits. Still waiting for a few more

The Ural communication truck is coming along slowly, this will sport another driveline setup. i want this slow and controlled.
Image

If anyone is interested, i started another thread for my bigger custom Rat Rod which is non WPL related

More pictures coming, but just finished the re-design of the tracked unit on the fayee trucks. Uses alot of the parts from the original unit, but replaces the layout of wheels and shape. Plus also tensions the track a little more

I also tested out my new dual motor setup using twin 370 motors on our LWB Crew Cab conversion.
It can run 2s with as much or just a little more power than stock WPL. It also has similar speed.
However it can also run 3s lipo and has more speed and more torque than WPL.
The untis i am trying are 1000rpm currently, however i also have some 500rpm motors in same design to go in my Ural Communication truck. So it will run 2s or 3s depending or torque and speed required :)

Busy week in CAD haha

Replacement part for Tracked units to turn into SNO CAT

Rear WPL Tow bar and light unit setup

Sno Cat Truck conversion

I also noticed the M939 is very similar in shape, so i will be adding M939 Truck cab to the list of designs and builds :)

Long Wheelbase M35 Crew Cab anyone?
BIG Power twin 370s motors inline running 2s or 3s lipo depending how quick and torquey you need it. It weighs quite a bit aswell
Image

Side step fuel tanks and holders, Crew Cab extension and 3 rear seats. Extra toolbox and jerry can holder to sit between the Crew compartment and the rear truck bed.

Gone for a Dark Blue Navy coloured look. Big & Bulky

Big new Custom wheels to come, thinking about Lego Tyres for more of the On road look. ANyone found any slightly larger OD tyres for the WPL trucks?
The MN90 series tyres are not quite right for the look i going for!
The daka tyres are not there, any opinions?
