Hello
I am Adam, at the moment i am 18 and training to be an aircraft mechanic!
I have been into modelling for a few years but only recently got into radio control tanks. I have a 1/16 Henglong Tiger which i repainted in Tiger 'S33', i also have a Takom ft17 in 1/16 which i will start to convert to radio control shortly. I am interested in all sorts of rc thinks, i have a couple of cars and wrecked motor torpedo boat to rebuild. I am saving up for a 1/6 tanks but i think it might take a while only being on a trainee wage :lolno: if anyone knows of any tanks for sale or has any advice on buying 1/6 tank please get in touch!
I hope to use this forum as much as i can and i hope i see you on the forum!
thanks!
Adam :)

Thanks for that. Welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of help here - we mainly deal in 1/16th scale, though there are a few 1/6 scale pieces to be found. Max-52 is working on a 1/16 Hetzer which looks as though it will be all singing and dancing when it's finished. We also have several members who dabble in rc boats - check out the thread.. We will look forward to seeing your Takom ft17 conversion - you will no doubt be told - we love lots of pictures. When you are ready, a thread in the "other builds" section would be appreciated. I assume you are UK based - there are a few Tank Clubs which you might like to visit, depending on your precise location.

Hello and welcome to the forum Nice to see a young person like yourself with such great interest. Very impressed with your attempt to convert a static tank into RC you will find many likeminded folks here who are very helpful and informative.

Have fun

Carl
