Hi there!
I like tracks! Lucky me - as an RC tanker.
But actually, I really am more and more interested in tracks and the real ones. So yes I obviously own the excellent Panzerketten book.
Recently I got this mysterious piece of 1:16 RC track... And I just can't find out what it is?!?

Compared to Panther tracks (left) and Tiger 1 tracks (right).

Marco I've been looking at this for some time now and it appears to be a Mato part because of the thin track pins maybe thier version of a Panther track compared to the Taigen or Torro versions? I know my Mato Tiger I tracks are thinner and not as robust as my Taigen metal track links.

Maybe a transport track link for a tiger I now that I've realized that the holes for the sprockets don't line up

Too funny it's really hard to figure out. I was almost certain I knew and then..... No idea. Did you just happen across these sections or do you have a full set? I'm sure someone on here knows the answer

It looks a bit like a PZ3/4 track in design although I don't think it is,
Perhaps it is from a PZ2 it looks quite lightweight.
Shaun.
