Back from the dead thread resurrection. I have a Clark IR remote so I have converted the recoil function to Tamiya but the muzzel flash triggers after the recoil has finished. What have I done wrong?

Just to recap its a Torro tank with as asiatam style recoil and 360 turret.

Have you rewired the recoil as par Clarks instructions? I had to reconfigure the Asiatam recoil in my Tiger I to operate with the Clark tk22. Image

In order for the flash to work correctly you need to connect the microswitch to CN3 as per photo:

What kind of flash are you using? Led or HL/Taigen High Intensity Flash?

Its the Torro/Taigen high intensity flash, I have rewired the asiatam as per the Clark instructions as well. When I press for the main gun firing the gun recoils and returns, then flashes with the firing and reload sound happening after the flash. Its happening on two of my tanks so at least I consistent in what I am doing wrong.

Sorry for the late answer, but did you try a LED flash and see if the same problem occurs?
