He gave me some pointers on soldering electronics, converting connector pins, and cable management for future reference. Getting to understand what he was trying to say on the other hand, was a little difficult.
Thanks for the link to the DKLM website, it could help with some aesthetics I want to make later.
Nice! Make sure you post it here. Would love to see it!

Yeah he's quite nice telling all the tips and tricks. Some people wont even share em. >:<

Ok, i shouldnt do this YET. Just because i had an opportunity today to leave work early, i decided to take her for a test run. (yep i have that itchy hands)

Being out of nowhere in north Western Australia, i can pretty much stop anywhere i want. But for this I decided to go to road train park up because its an open ground, not much big rocks, and bushes. Temperature was 38 degrees.

Now, with Abrams, there are still a lot of to do. Machine guns, Slat armour, stowage and sets of metal wheels.

Here are some of the photos from today

The beast virginity has been successfully removed! :D :D

I think it would be nice to have a nice backdrop on that for all of our work. Please tell us if you used a camera or your smartphone? Makes for a nice bit of information for the folks entering the TOTM picture threadImage

Hi Carl, Cheers for that

- I'm using DSLR camera,
- Look for open space far away from the trees, this way the size of the trees can be slightly down scale to the tank.
- Distance myself as far as i can
- Use 18-55mm lens
- And zoom as close as i can (zoom to the max)

One of my shot on 1/24 Abrams VSTANK

Great tip with the tree scaling idea. I've never thought of that
