Just got round to sorting her out quick vid on the lake I tried to shoot the Video myself but in between flicking 2 switches and operating 2 boats from the same Tx was a bit much.

She's still got a bit of a leak from the rear but I'll sort that with some JB weld, running on the F14 twin stick with 10 channels switchable lights, radar navi lights and a nice little welding guy I'll post a picture of him, I've not seen another working one with deployment and retrieval in the uk.
But someone must know of one.
The welders. I got the light set from js miniatures.
I take a picture of the inside later and post it up.

Thanks Tom it's got to be flat calm on the lake, it's very hard to line the boats up but I managed it twice that day.

That's an intriguing build, Lord knows how you figured out the winch mechanism, but it works brilliantly!

Thanks, but, I have a tool box just for that boat, it's like the fourth bridge I never stop working on it, sometimes she behaves herself, other times its just plain embarrassing.

This boat will drive me mad

all ready today for a test run and 1 of the motors packs in, after a week of degreasing and welding then trying to fix a leak all of this done through the hull with key hole surgery precision. So instead of sailing spent the day in the workshop trying the start this motor, tracing, soldering joints, taking the motor apart I found the reverse switch in the 6v deco-perm was the problem, so propeller off shaft out couplings off motor out then stripped then all put back.
Great day.

We are restoring one of these and I sourced a Vegesack from Germany with help from friends.
I have a contact who manufacturers the lift mechanism who is in Germany. But I haven't got hands on yet with his.kit.
What did u do for the prop supports on rear of hull?

Hi the prop supports on the outside rear are brass plate made in a V shape and slotted through the hull for the 2 outside props, If you require any pictures of any part of the boat to help I would be happy to post them.
As for the internals it’s all scratch built as the original was passed any kind of resurrection I just copied and replaced. Mine is over 30 years old and the internals work well but there is a lot going on in there when it’s deploying or retrieving.
Cheers Mark.
