The gun have to be mounted from the inside, fixing with some plastic sheets.

That means, the prototype kit of the Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha is ready built, but needs a lot of bolts, hinges and handholds…

What size hinges are they?

The hinge size is nominated 12x7mm but these are the real dimension:

I´ve shortened the length to 9mm so it works for this use.

Nice work.

I found some 10mm x 8mm smallest unless you go resin.

After mounting of almost 500 rivets, 20 hinges and several handholds, the tank is awaiting primer and a three tone coloring after…
