Welcome to the mad house. Don't worry about the time. We have members scattered across the globe, so it's a sensible time of day for someone! We love photos so post away.

Edit: Just noticed your date of joining - you've been a member of the forum for longer than me :D I guess we are off to a new start. Anyway, what I said above goes. We look forward to having you as an active member. Al your questions and someone will give you an answer.

Not a problem. I figured there was a good reason. I hope all is well now. It's lights out time for me as I have to be up early tomorrow to get to our tank meet. I'll try and get some photo posting info to you if no one beats me to it sometime tomorrow.

Welcome, Willy!
If you think you're up late, just check the time on this post 8O :D I think you'll often find early hours types on here. Have a look at the wealth of reference material available in the archives, and do check the links on posting pics. Plenty of help to be had here for that anyway.

Ok, it's a bit late I'll grant you.........
Gents, has anyone ever wired one of the Taigen IR turrets into an older generation HL bb Tiger 1 ?
I'm trying to fit one from the ever helpful Dave at Forgebear but admit I'm struggling !
My HL tiger is running rx18 unit but only has a single 8 pin plug on the upper deck with a little square 3 point board which had the bb turret wiring soldered to it , not the later 8 pin plug with an extra 3 pin plug attached to it type on newer generation upper decks.
Have managed to get turret rotation , gun rise and fall (via soldering a red and black wire removed from a 3 pin plug which is part of the turret wiring to the little square board, also has a green wire as third in this plug, not yet connected) . I'm guessing the third green wire is the one that activates the flash/recoil function?
Have soldered as thick red wire coming from turret to negative side of main on off switch as per guide sent with turret but still no flash recoil function ?
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Appreciate it's early hours of Wednesday, so won't be any suggestions until later.

Look forward to hearing from someone later, I hope.
