While slowly getting back into getting the jagdtiger up and running again, I would like to rebuild it from BB(only option when I wanted it ) into recoil.
Was hoping to score the mantlet and barrel from Torro Germany with ease, but not so.
Domeniq did not have spare parts ( since non are provided from distrub.) So I shoot off a mail to Torro.

1 week pluss for Torro customer service to reply on a simple question. 'Can you supply jagdtiger gun and mantlet , so I can convert to recoil(from BB) '
Answer :
we are sorry but we have only complete upper hulls in stock.
parts for converting are not available.
spare parts for defective to change like the recoil unit but no gun barrel or mantlet or mounting for the gun barrel.
it is not listed as spare part in our part list from manufacturer

Max I feel your pain,
I have been trying for months to get hold of a Taigen Panzer 4 "BB" Metal Turret, Anyone remotely concerned with the selling of Taigen Parts will happily sell me a Taigen Panzer 4 Metal Turret BUT it includes the body,
I don't want the blo*dy body, I just want the Turret
I am giving serious consideration to giving up this lunacy and taking up marbles for a hobby

Stian is the part available here in the states from Imex? I'd gladly help get it to you if needed.

Max could you source a conversion kit like the one from An-Bri in Germany it's €50.00 I'd assume much cheaper than a whole upper hull or another company?

Well as sad as it is, both no (spare)parts they want to sell, ore the fack they took a week + to even bother answer

tank modelbau have
mk modelbau have some,
just need to figure out some way to attached it to tge recoil so it has some support, not just the barrel into the recoil end of the unit

Sounds good. I use the old aluminum airsoft tube and machine it to fit. I did that to convert from the stock Taigen recoil setup when I converted to servo recoil and elevation. Once I ground it to fit it worked perfectly

Try RC electronics in the UK. He does 3D printed servo recoil and elevation kits.

When faced with a similar dilemma in the past in RC Tamks/garden railways/racing cycling I bought a whole unit/set/bike, cannibalised the parts I wanted and sold what remained on eBay Shaun, sometimes with the added benefit of getting what I wanted at a greatly discounted price or even a free part.
And on occasion took the hit and thought "sod it" - it's my hobby and I'm worth it.
