Tiger 1 early.

This is not a criticism!!! :lolno:
But the recent Tiger 1s that I have seen are all missing the Cupola Hatch Support Strut,
This was fitted to all Tiger 1 early's at the factory to protect the hatch hinge from stress by going over centre,
The Heng Long Tiger 1s included it but it was a loose item in the accessory pack and many people thought it was a piece of broken sprue because it looks like a bit of small roughly "Z" shaped plastic,
If you look at the outer rim of the Tiger 1 early's cupola on the hatch hinge side there is a square shaped indent where one end fits and the other end fits into a defined square section below the hatch hinge,
If you do have the part,
Glue one end to the cupola DO NOT GLUE THE OTHER END.
I suppose I am asking if this particular detail is still included with the other bits and pieces in the accessory pack.??
Shaun.

A very timely intervention my old friend,
Your Tamiya Tiger 1 (Early) clearly showing the better and more accurate detail on your Tiger 1 build than can be found on the Heng Long/Taigen/Torro Tiger 1 Cupola (Amongst other details).

Here are a few more shots of this feature. The latch is a working part of this build.

Two very clear pictures of the Tamiya Tiger 1 early, Thank you my hero,
Now to emphasise the difference perhaps someone might show the same Hatch Support on a Heng Long/Taigen/Torro Tank cupola.

Thank you Sir, It certainly illustrates the difference between the Tamiya and the Heng Long/Taigen/Torro versions of what is supposed to be the same thing :lolno: :lolno:

It's just as well that only those of us that are well versed in Tiger 1 detail know.
Some tank enthusiasts neither know or care.

Here's a gratuitous Tiger 1 picture for good measure of a slightly inaccurate Taigen/Torro :D

There's plenty of images with those hatch holders removed as well , with the lid lying flat , so can be correct either way.
