Now ive finally finished the Abrams I can crack on with some more of the back catalogue. First up the Chally, wanted a more muted finish to the normal two tone so toned back the Nato Black and then the matt varnish and the weathering knocked it back even more ! Just fiddling around making the hazzard lights on the front flash and then I can seal her all up and off into the hills to photograph! Hells bells, at this rate I might even finish TWO models this year!!!!!

Nice. Very nice

I'd like to be ale to finish just
one model this year..! I get to around 95% complete, then another model demands attention like an some aggrieved and overlooked child. There's also a danger with some models of their becoming
permanent experiments in equipment levels, camouflage, markings and performance...as well as the latest refinements.

One of my Tigers has been decorated for all seasons, and all campaigns, and is shortly due for another
facelift (like a cosmetic surgery addict

).

Oh I hear you there. My SHADO mobile and Eagle laser tank have been lingering around for years. Various tech issues or general loss of interest has held these up. Of course then comes along a nice shine new idea and yet another kit hits the back catalogue list!
Hey, at least we are not the only ones eh?!

No..I suspect there are many more

Sometimes, it feels a bit like being one of those entertainers who spins plates on top of bendy canes.

But then there's the allure, and distraction of newly released kits and uprated models..
