This Leopard is equipped that particular board. It certainly makes for an interesting introduction..

Hmm.. that's more of an audio demo for the add on sound feature. Here's the full option card in action:

Unless you're doing a gepard they're expensive for worse sound and less functions that the ibu3 or tk60

Thanks guys I just happened upon it for the first time and was curious about it. Just wondered if anyone on our forum tried them out.

I'd probably agree, Tom, but I think that the broader the spectrum of choice and competition in 3rd party MFUs, the better it will be for upgraders. Now we have Open Panzer and other players in the field, maybe it'll influence Taigen, Heng Long and Tamiya to improve their inventories even further. We've seen HL make an effort at least recently, and Taigen have been listening too. In time, that appalling 'one-sound-for-all tanks' phenomenon from HL/Taigen/Mato will be a thing of the past.

I see RCtanksaustralia sells them. There was a little discussion on them as far back as 2011: http://www.rctanksaustralia.com/forum/v ... =153&t=192

I wonder if this was an early attempt to get target locking features in a multi function board? Doing a little research it appears the first models had sounds for the M1 abrams, leopard etc..

I agree the more the aftermarket companies make higher quality boards like the IBU and Clark tk60 it does force the hand of the manufacturers like Heng Long/Taigen with thier newest boards respectively.
