Servo elevation problems

Hi everyone,
I am trying to work out how to get my servo elevation to function properly.

At the moment I can get the gun elevate and depress but cant get it to stay at the last position, it returns to the home position when I let go of the control stick ( self centering ).

Does it depend on the type of electronics ?
Do you use a non self centering transmitter stick or a trim pot ?
Do I need to get something extra to add to my servo setup ?

Any help is most welcome.

Thanks
AK

It depends of what electronics you are using, but a non selft centering stick wont do anything.

What you need its a small board called sirvoe.

Ask Kevin, at rc tanks australia. He is the one that makes and sells that small boards.

A non self-centering stick will only help if you're plugging the servo directly into your radio receiver. What electronics are you running?

Thanks Guys,
I am running an ASP v1.
I had looked at the sirvoe board but could not see how it worked for elevation.
Maybe its because i have my elevation servo plugged into channel 8.
I will go back and look at the rcta site again. Hopefully there is a u-tube clip.
Thanks
