Hello,
I am connecting my KV-1 main gun to servo recoil, but I cant find any videos showing the real tank firing so I can set my tank up to look realistic, so I'm not even sure if the gun recoils at all or how the tank reacts when firing . Any info or video would be appreciated.

It's the same gun as on the T34/76, gives you more chance of finding something.

The Soviets were the only Allies who didn't get the 17 pdr. With the 85 mm D-5T and 100 mm D-10, they probably didn't need it.

Interestingly though, when the Australians considered upgunning the Sentinel from the 6 pdr, they created a testbed with dual 25 pdr howitzers. They figured if the tank could handle firing the two guns simultaneously, it could survive the 17 pdr's famous recoil.

They also caused the Valentine to be in production far longer than it needed to be!

I did read that the British never gave the Soviets the 17 pbr. They made there own version. 76.2 mm 3/inch gun , same size as the 17 pbr. But there shells were not as good as the British . Would still like to see a KV1 firing though .
