Steel Roadwheels for Tamyia 1/16 Tiger 1

Hi guys. Is there any easy way to convert Tamiya Tiger 1 to use the late steel road wheels? I googled around and found only this:

Its seems that alot of work is needed. Hoping for some bolt-on kits. hehe.....

I actually used those instructions and did it that way on the first set I made several years ago. It WAS a lot of work (and parts) as you noted, but there was also a certain satisfaction in having accomplished it. At the time, it was the only way to have a set, but since then there have been a couple of manufacturers that have made them. Here is a link to a Taigen set that Dave (Forgebear) has listed:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Taigen-Tiger-I- ... SwHnFV6ek2 Not sure if the axle diameter on the Taigen wheels is the same as the Tamiya axles. If they are a little too big to fit, the Tamiya roadwheel arms can always be drilled out to match.

The taigen axels are too small and don't fit. Henntec do a set but they're 240 odd euros
