Hello there!
Just joined this forum the other day and figured I'd introduce myself.
I usually build 1/35 scale static models, but bought my first 1/16 RC kit not too long ago after about a 15 year break.
Looking forward to it!
Matt

Welcome to the forum. Should you need it there is plenty of help and advice to be found here. Just ask. I notice you said "first R/C kit". It won't be your last. This is one of the most addictive hobbies known to man and it has no known cure.

And do you have an unlimited line of credit and a friendly bank manager!

Welcome to the forum and happy tanking.
This is not a hobby, it's an addiction.

Matt funny you say that about the static 1:35 kits. That's how I got my start. It evolves into Rc trucks and cars and then after about a 12 year hiatus about 5 years ago I got back into Rc with tanks and armour. So glad that I did

My bank account is not so happy

Welcome fellow noob!
I have 3 Heng Longs and they look as good as any tank model I could build...except these drive, smoke, and shoot!

I thought the cheery local Bank Manager was an endangered species, Alwyn

Efforts are being made, though..I understand.. by the RSPBM to re-introduce them in protected areas

...and Highlife 'Tax havens'
Yet the point is a serious one, Tanker45. Watch how quickly those sneaky upgrades eat into your resources! Then you'll have the two hour telephone ordeal, with multiple option calls, to some remote part of the world...accompanied by some hideous crackly music..only for the line to go dead at the critical moment of establishing the Armortek loan
