How do you bind two Heng Long tanks to one transmitter?

I've done the search and found general answers but still confused...specifically.
1) Does tank (2.4 Heng Long) come with the binding button or is that something extra to buy?
2) which port exactly on the control module do you use for binding? I have the diagrams downloaded but still fuzzy on which one to jump.
_ I do understand that a binding button is not needed and just jumping the 1 and 3 connector pins will do the job.
