So now I have also aquired a M26 Snow Leopard.
For this I think I will try and keep things simple. More of a challenge to rip it apart and go over it totally and then weather it and add camouflage.
Although this one may be for.my wife to work her magic. Let's wait and see

So this tank arrived today very quickly. Took it apart to see what was up and found metal gearboxes installed. Bonus. Then found it was abc type so had a play around and made it work!
Bit of a clean up required as very dusty and now we are going to prep for weathering and painting up to look a little more scale and real rather than crap plastic.
Well chuffed with thia, so need some ideas to make it look great.

Good morning,
The M26 is an excellent runner and also lends itself very well to extra detailing for realism. Get yourself a couple of sprues of Tamiya spares and go to town on your tank before you paint it. The results are well worth it.

*Hmmmms* I think, all of them. *chuckles* No but I did use D,E,F,G W and Y and the Tamiya mantlet along with Schumo add - ons and a scratch built barrel from the General.

That looks very nice indeed. I will be using a bit of model filler for turret joins and I quit fancy adding some side turret rocket launchers on drop links so they tilt as turret goes up and down.
M26 T99 build I think and thanks for advice on Tamiya add ons

Got some cool M26 accessories from my Forgebear via my wife for Christmas.
Lots of the original fittings snapped off before i got the tank.
Now on look out for inspiration and instructions where certain accessories fit on the M26.
Anyone willing to share links or pictures of their own M26 which in can use please?
