Hello
So this is a tank that was given to me by a friend & colleague from work. I was visiting Germany & was gifted this Leopard.2
I have no idea the make, but the instructions say RC Battle Tank.
The side of the tank says The Lord Fights Tank 70
The drive didn't work on one side, and to be honest i had no way to diagnose exactly whats broken in the circuit board.
I have converted this tank to run seperate 20A escs linked to a 27mhz receiver & converted an old Accoms transmitter to run both sticks as throttle and run in the vertical direction
The original transmitter controls the turret which is great because the kids can operate turret whilst Daddy or Mummy are driving.
Still got some interference issues, but getting there.
Escs get hot but the tank just runs for ever on a battery charge! Some cooling fans going in place of the orginal fans so a bit of cutting to do.
I have also upgraded the motors to 6-12v 280 size motors. i did try 3-9v motors and it was fast, but burnt out the motors within an hour!
The original battery 700mah was dumped for same size voltage pack but 2600mah.
Due to escs only capable of 8.4v max i had to add a second plug on the battery pack to run motors and full 9.6v for turret controls
