hi guys
Finally got my Abrams loaded up ready for the Summer. Havnt been able to take her out for a shoot yet as all the fields around us are full of waist high corn!
Anyway this is all my stowage stuff that I was selling until recently. Weighs a bloody ton but at least she looks loaded up as she should do.

Hiya
Im not saying never but the moulds from batch 2 have started to deteriorate and give me trouble. With the New Abrams from Trumpeter and Tamiya coming out I will do a new batch if theres enough interest. I wont ship sub standard products to anyone hence I took the decision to pull them before anyone got something they were unhappy with. Towards the end I was putting two items in the bin for every one I pulled due to mould fail. Having said that even the ones I binned were usable but Im a fussy bugger.

Hiya
I think they would (look out of place), both have closed storage bins and ive never seen any pictures of either loaded up with gear. Having said that whose to say how the crew would stow gear in a real combat situation?
Had a quick google and even these battle hardened warriors are not showing anything more than what might be some sleeping rolls on the back?

I would suggest that the reason you don't see bed rolls on the back of a Chally is because the only time that one got taken out was at night when they had their transponders turned off. The crew were sleeping on the rear deck totally unaware that one of their kind had spotted them, decided that they must be enemy, and fired at them!
It might be rather cramped inside that turret, hardly room to stand or sit anywhere, apart from on top of the charge bins, so my guess is that anyone suffering from insomnia goes straight to the top of the tank crew recruitment short list.
Very nice Abrams, it changes the lines of the tank completely when it has stowage all over it.

Where did you source the gun shields and bits for the 30 and 50 cal guns?

Scratch built it out of plasticard, coffee, blood and rude words.
The CROWSII is animatronic as well.

Spectacular work on the stowage Keith, the detail's so crisp! It certainly looks the business, all the pictures of Abrams in-country look more like caravans than tanks.
