Impact T-81 Pershing Tracks

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade the tracks on my Perishing. The taigen metal tracks have served me well, but the ends of track links keep breaking. Probably because they are a double pinned design that's made to be a single pin. I think it's time to upgrade before I run out of spare links.

So my question is, does anyone have experience with the durability of the impact T-81 tracks? Specifically with a tank that weighs about 12lbs.

Thanks!

Hi!
I had two Super Pershings running on the Impact tracks. Both were used hardly on the grass and sand. I never had any problem with Impact T-81 tracks. They are just great!!!

Awesome! Thank you!

Also, I just recently figured out that the Impact tracks are different than these:

They look to be less detailed, and are generally cheaper. Has anyone used these?

Looking at the eBay page, at least the cheap ones are closed pin.
But now I know what tracks I need, I'll be following this thread with great interest.

Mick.
I meant to reply about the grousers too, but got distracted. I think it could be done if you combined the MATO Sherman tracks with grousers, with the MATO Pershing tracks. Although I'm not sure about the track pin length though, as I don't have a set of MATO Pershing tracks. That would be an expensive way to do it though, unless you can find cheap used ones or convince MATO to sell you the T-80's with enough grousers to go with.

I think you've miss understood me, when I saw a picture of these T 81 tracks on a bad quality picture, I mistakenly thought these tracks had grousers, and then the penny dropped whilst doing a search for pershing tracks, and saw these T 81 tracks, and all became clear.

Mick.
Ah, that makes sense.
