Moonlit African Tiger

Old picture but not shown before.
Using the children's playground sandbox in front of our appartment-building and some studio-lights I set up one of the first tanks I ever worked on to create a moonlit desert.

Friend of mine made a cool shot of the same setting as well! He changed some things and we basically rebuilt the complete shot haha!

Marco I think the watchtower is what really sets the photo up really well. Puts everything in scale.

An interesting change from the normal Tiger shots we get here, and of an equally high standard for framing and detail. Nicely done

Pity they didn't really have much in the way of infra red photography in WW2. IR would make for a really engaging shot.

IR pictures were used in the War, but I know of none taken of tanks. Pity.
