Hi Rob its slightly different from the one I got from you , Had to put metal tracks and suspension, reinforce the lower so it doesn't twist, that was the start point, first made the crane work winch and boom then the traverse (which proved to be the hardest to get it working), bought the dozer blade on a few bits for the back from Ludwig , made the ram for the dozer ,fitted a winch at the front and also fitted a winch to rear to operate the towing arm cut doors in the side, then sorted the electrics out, IBU plus 5 other ESCs and fitted yellow flashing light. Then slapped some paint on need a big muddy puddle now to weather it .
The upper you made is so strong, in fact had to cut away some of the frame work inside to make room for the bits needed to go in. and its still very strong ,the crane has lifted a Tamiya Tiger up to an angle of about 45 degrees , it is still very strong. Good design Rob and well put together, couldn't have made it without your upper .

I wish I had your patience, you have built what I had wanted to, but getting it all to work was too much for my addled mind to cope with. If ever try to do it again I will be beating a path to your door to pick your brains.

A beautiful pair of models Pete, made even more impressive by how functional they are! Nice work cramming all the mechanical gubbins into such a small space. You'll have to post some videos of them in action to really let your handiwork shine. ;)

Here are some photos of what makes it work.Took a while to get some of it working right traverse being the hardest because it such a tight space and trying to find worm gears that are correct size is donkey work.
