Thanks to Mr Tankbear my very heavy turret in my JS-3 works like a charm. Absolutely perfect function and very easy to setup and operate. Used a servo off channel 5 and it's operating as it should.

Still have to work out some bugs and get the rotation to synch with my other functions.

Nice ! Do you have to cut the battery box now or does it squeezed in there ?

I've still to sort out the servo synch to the board. Currently I'm running the servo to channel 6 and when I move the turret rotation stick I just turn the knob slowly in the direction I want to go and I can get the sound and the rotation at the same time. It's actually easier than it sounds to control. Somehow while testing I blew out the headlight so I'm going to replace the led tonight or tomorrow.

always something to do. One major problem adressed and here comes another
The servo and gear are very nice.

Carl, just send you an email. You can just map channel 6 to the Clark control then it will be the same control/sound.

MichealC has come through

now one simple move left or right and the turret completely rotates with sound!!! Super cool Mike

Hey Carl, first, I have some of those 3mm warm white LEDs if you need a couple, I've found they give a much better light that's period correct as opposed to the super bright white LEDs. These have a more yellow glow that's more in line with the incandescent lights they used at the time. If you want to try them just PM your address and I'll get a couple in the mail to you, no charge.
Second, I have a special feature in mind for my Hetzer involving rotation and I think you might be able to advise me. I plan to use two pots to control elevation and traverse on the main gun, mainly to be able to fine tune my aim for the paintball cannon. That leaves the rotation feature on the stick available (I'll be using an IBU for all functions except drive) so I'm going to try and hook up the remote MG-34 on top to rotate with the stick, in place of turret rotation. Now I just have to figure out how to do it. One way is to mount the servo directly under the MG-34 and have it turn the whole assembly (maybe with a servo board so it turns when I move the stick but stays there instead of returning to center when I release the stick), but I might also be able to use a rotation type set up. Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm not concerned with sound for either gun, so that will make things a bit easier.

Hi Gary

I'd like to take some of those Led lights off hi our hands. I'll pm you. As for the rotation assembly it's really a nice kit and it's adjustments are great. I'd reccomend it for your MG setup. MichealC on the forum has been very helpful with my setup as we were talking back and forth as it progressed.
