Hi All, Just a quick question, Has anybody used the Forces of Valour 1/18 figures ? Tank Force has them in stock and states that they will go with 1/16 tanks. I am needing some figures to go with my RC Landing Craft and Sherman Tank and these are a fair price, just not sure about the scale working, Any Advice please. TIA, Pete

They will work for you. I've used them many times and are an acceptable size.

I have damn near every German they made. Excluding DAK guys and the SS set. Have no DAK armor and the SS set is TOO expensive!

Here you can see the difference between a 1:16 scale tamiya soldier, and the 1:18 forces of valor: viewtopic.php?f=206&t=21324

Hi Pete, these are the 1/18 forces of valor guys in my rc landing craft that I'm working on, they look ok if they are kept with other 1/18 figures, I'm going to get a couple more to fill the LC up a bit Image

just looked FoV stuff up. TBH and i don't mean to offend but to me they look like toys ! the other thing is, us lot on here spend a great deal of money and time making the vehicles authentic and realistic so why not the figures ? eg........

and my current fav

Now i know these models are expensive but they are 1/16 scale and i have 1/18 88mm flak and my figures look odd beside them,

so i guess what i'm saying is i don't like mixing scales.again no offence to anyone. as i've said on this site before anyone wanting a figure painted contact me and i'll do it free

Them look really good Doc Larson, But I'm afraid they would be a bit out of my budget atm, I know the FoV figures are toy like but as they will mostly be seen from a distance ie on the water, they will surfice for now. Thank You for your input though and no offense taken here. :)
