Tiger 1

Hi Guys.
Can anyone tell me the size of the tiger 1 shell. I know it was a 8.8cm shell but I'm going to try and make some 1/16 ones.
Or if you have the size of the ones that would be great.

Hi Adrian, the 1/16 shell case is approximately 40mm long and with the projectile it's approximately 57mm, the shell on the right of the pics is 1/18 scale

The Tiger 1 used the 88 x 571R shell, the 571 being the length of the cartridge case. This scales down to 35.7 mm in 1/16th. There was a taper to the case, and the original rim size was 111 mm which scales to 6.93 mm. Hope this helps. Some time ago I found a drawing on line with measurements for the all the 88 shells b ut try as I might, I can't find it now.
